A marquee was seen being built on the waterfront property Thursday as employees worked all day in preparation for the star-studded ceremony.
Meanwhile, the couple was spotted shopping in Savannah, Georgia, Thursday also with family and friends.
Their three-day “intimate celebration for family and friends” will kick off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday, our insider shared.
The actors will then marry on Saturday, this time in front of family friends and celebrities who were unable to attend the first wedding, such as Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Casey Affleck and Drea de Matteo, all expected.
We also hear that there is going to be a barbecue on Sunday.
Apparently, Shetty and Lopez have been close for a few years now, she’s even opened up about her relationship struggles over the years.
In her podcast, she revealed that she was in therapy in her thirties and that “there is [was] we talked a lot about loving yourself and I was like ‘I love myself!’ But obviously I was doing all these things in my personal relationship that didn’t seem to like me, but I didn’t even understand the concept of it.
Lopez and Affleck tied the knot last month in a ceremony in Las Vegas, with the singer taking to her ‘On The JLo’ newsletter to spring from their nuptials in the city of sin.
“Last night we flew to Vegas, lined up for licensing with four other couples, all making the same trip to the wedding capital of the world,” she shared with her subscribed fans.
“Behind us, two men were holding hands and holding each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday – we all want the same thing – for the world to recognize us as partners and declare our love to the world through the ancient and almost universal symbol of marriage.
Despite the good times, sources close to the couple told Page Six that the heavy presence of paparazzi “freaked out” the actor.
“It was a whole new level,” the source said, adding that it was “almost Princess-Diana level.”
The couple met in 2001 on the set of their movie “Gigli” while Lopez was still married to her second husband Cris Judd.
Lopez went on to marry Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme, while Affleck married Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares daughters Violet and Seraphina and son Samuel.
